MUSIC CAMP FOR KIDS

Music camp for Kids is a fun and exciting learning experience for all students alike.  The camp is geared towards students who are both new to music and who are already taking an instrument, either in school or privately.  During the camp, the students will rotate through different rooms in groups of no more than 4-5 kids and will be exposed to each instrument.  These instruments will include Piano, Violin, Voice, Guitar, Percussion, Flute and more.  We keep it fun by including crafts, sing a longs, and hands on experience.  This music camp is ideal for kids ages 3-13.

*Fee includes all materials & Cost of 1 SESSION.  Fee also includes camp t-shirt.   Does not INCLUDE FOOD or drinks, please provide a packed lunch.

“BUCKET BRIGADE”

“SHAKE, ROCK’N ROLL”

Bucket Brigade is a great camp for the future drummer.   This camp is perfect for children that show interest in drums or percussion.  Using buckets and various other ‘STOMP” like percussion instruments, children will have a hands on experience utilizing some of the different rhythms and techniques of the drums. This camp is ideal for ages 8 – 11. 

Shake, Rock’n Roll is a camp structured for ages 12 -14.  This Camp will cover the theory of rhythm and counting. Students will learn the proper grip and will receive hands on instruction for an assortment of percussion instruments including shakers, hand drums, and electronic percussion.  The “buzz” roll will also be introduced in this session.

BRASS CAMP

BRASS ENSEMBLE

Brass Camp is structured for young children who are interested in pursuing brass in their school band.  Students will be given the

fundamentals and basic knowledge of brass instruments.   They will work on technique that will get them ready for school band and ensemble.   

                 Brass Ensemble is a camp for students already in the school band.  This is our version of “band camp” but more fun.  We focus on developing musicianship, while working on improving technique and challenging them on more difficult pieces. We have smaller classes so individual attention is given. However, a nice ensemble to prepare and advance their techniques on their individual instruments.

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

Have you ever wanted to perform on stage?  Musical Theatre camp will do everything from picking the appropriate songs, to working on posture, performance and singing styles.  This workshop will have two sections.  One for the beginning student who is new to the musical genre, and the advanced for those who are becoming seasoned in musical theatre.  We will have special guest teachers coming in to advise and critique.  With the workshop having a beginners and an advanced level , this is a great camp for everyone!
