Music that we teach varies on each child/student.  Some students come to learn for fun, so the music that we choose is more  geared for fun and learning.  Some students want more of a serious approach and want to go further with it.  Again, each child will be given personalized instruction and the lessons will be customized while keeping their personal goals in mind.

We have private music lessons—which are one on one instruction as well as group instruction.  Both are included in the monthly fee.  This combination helps the child get a well-rounded music education.

You can tell if your child is interested if he/she is playing an instrument on his own, singing all the time, or telling you that he wants to play an instrument.  Sometimes you have to try lessons first to see if they are interested instead of waiting for the child to tell  you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Music lessons should be started as early as possible.  Of course, not all instruments are appropriate for the very young children, but Piano can be started as early as 4 yrs old if the child is able to sit for a 30 minute session.

What type of music do you teach?

Yes.  We have 2 recitals per year—Summer and Christmas Recital.  They are held at a local church.  All family and friends are invited to watch.  Children are also able to participate in a National Music Festival held at Grove City College once a year.  This is a well known nationally recognized competition where students are able to receive awards and trophies.
